All of our 1000-2000 level courses satisfy the Appalachian Core Curriculum requirements for Humanities, and many of those courses satisfy requirements within General Education for the Aesthetics Perspective, Historical and Social Perspective, and the Local to Global Perspective.
The Bible courses (REL 2010 and 2020) may be used to satisfy your literature requirement (if you are not a Religion major or minor).
Additionally, the Department of Philosophy and Religion also offers an honors program comprised of courses at the introductory, intermediate, and advanced levels.
