All of our 1000-2000 level courses satisfy the Appalachian Core Curriculum requirements for Humanities, and many of those courses satisfy requirements within General Education for the Aesthetics Perspective, Historical and Social Perspective, and the Local to Global Perspective.
The Bible courses (REL 2010 and 2020) may be used to satisfy your literature requirement (if you are not a Religion major or minor).

Cognizance Undergraduate Philosophy Journal
Cognizance is an online journal created to showcase outstanding work in philosophy and promote outsider interest in philosophical topics. Cognizance is a joint effort between graduate students of Tufts University and undergraduates of Appalachian State University. The Editor-in-Chief is Jordan Gray.
